Salimar was founded in 2014 at Baia Salinedda, a paradise nestled in Sardinia, offering boat rentals without a license and tours dedicated to exploring the enchanting Tavolara and Molara Marine Protected Area.
From the start, the mission has been to provide authentic experiences that combine nature, adventure, and relaxation, departing directly from the beach to immerse guests in unique and pristine locations.
What we offer
In 2014, I decided to dedicate myself to tours and boat rentals to share the wonders of Tavolara and Molara with a broader audience. Today, with the opening of our rental and tour location on Lake Como, my goal is to provide high-quality aquatic experiences both in Sardinia and Como, ensuring excellent services to meet the expectations of our visitors.

History and territory
In 2022, the business evolved and expanded with the opening of a new departure point at the Porto San Paolo dock, enhancing the range of guided and personalized tours. This step allowed for improved services and the ability to meet the growing demand for exclusive experiences, always prioritizing quality and customer satisfaction.
In September 2024, Salimar took another leap forward by expanding to Lake Como, one of Italy’s most iconic destinations, introducing a tour and rental service with both rubber boats and traditional boats. This new initiative represents a blend of the expertise gained in Sardinia with the timeless allure of Lake Como, offering year-round tourist activities.
With this growth, Salimar remains true to its vision: delivering unforgettable experiences in harmony with the natural beauty of the territories, showcasing each location with professionalism and passion.
